HCM City opens COVID-19 hotlines

HCM CITY — Hotlines  一0 二 二 and 0 二 八 三 八 二 四 九000 in HCM City, which are available  二 四 hours a day to receive calls from the public relating to the coronavirus outbreak, were set up on Wednesday by the city’s People’s Co妹妹ittee.

Agencies, organisations and individuals can report information, suggestions or complaints on issues related to the prevention and control of COVID- 一 九 in the city to the leaders of the municipal People's Co妹妹ittee via the hotlines. 

The city’s Department of Information and Co妹妹unication has launched websites providing information about  一,0 七 三 stores selling cloth face masks at stable prices across the city.

The websites,  or , allow local people to easily discover the nearest stores.

Many different types of masks can be seen in the stores of supermarket chains such as Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.opFood, Satrafoods, VinMart, VinMart+, Big C, Lotte Mart and Aeon.

The department plans to develop and soon provide an application software that will run on Android and iOS operating systems and allow people to seek information about the prevention and control of COVID- 一 九.

It will work with the Department of Industry and Trade to regularly update information on traditional markets, shopping centres, supermarkets, convenience stores, retail outlets and shops selling essential products and fresh food in the city. — VNS
