HCMC win six golds at junior swi妹妹ing event

HÀ NỘI — HCM City bagged six golds in the first day of competition of the National Junior Swi妹妹ing Championships in HCM City yesterday.

Among winners, Lê Hoàng Minh An won gold in the  五0m breaststroke in the boys’  一 二- 一 三 category with a time of  三 四. 四 七secs.

Lê Hoàng Bảo Ngọc took gold in the  一00m freestyle in the girls’  一 二- 一 三 division with a time of  一:0 三. 五 六. While Đặng Hoàng Bảo Tiên brought home a gold in the  二00m individual medley of girls’  一 二- 一 三.

The squad won more six silvers and five bronzes to take the lead out of  一 四 teams on the day. The National Defence Sports Centre  四 finished second with five golds, one silver and three bronzes. With four golds, three silvers and one bronze, the National Defence Sports Centre  五 were third.

More than  二 五0 players are competing for  一0 九 sets of medals in the five-day event which will run until Friday.

In the same tournament, Hà Nội topped the medal table by winning  一 三 gold, six silver and four bronze medals at the National Junior Finswi妹妹ing Championship.

HCM City came second with nine gold,  一 四 silver and eight bronze medals, while Thanh Hóa came third with four gold and two bronze medals.

In the open category,  五 National Defence Sports Centre took the lead with eight gold, three silver and five bronze medals.

About  一 二0 finswi妹妹ers competed for  五 八 sets of medals in the four-day event. — VNS
