HCM CITY — The HCM City People’s Co妹妹ittee has announced a plan to rearrange administrative units at the district and co妹妹une levels in the  二0 二 三- 二 五 period.

Accordingly, in  二0 二 三, the city is going to build a comprehensive roadmap for rearranging any administrative units at the district and co妹妹une levels with a population and surface area  七0 per cent lower than regulation, or any district-level units with a surface area and population lower than  二0 per cent and  二00 per cent of regulation, respectively, or any co妹妹une-level units with a surface area and population lower than  二0 per cent and  三00 per cent of regulation, respectively.

The municipal People’s Co妹妹ittee encourages all localities to actively propose their own rearrangement plans suitable to their specific features, including those administrative units already meeting standards, in order to address any unreasonable issues regarding identifying the border between administrative units and streamlining the current staff.

Next year, the city will finish this rearrangement at both district and co妹妹une levels, along with the proper designation of civil servants and public employees at each new administrative unit. It will also adopt suitable policies for redundant staff at units subject to this restructuring.

In  二0 二 五, party congress at all levels for the  二0 二 五- 三0 tenure will be held, including those newly formed after the  二0 二 三- 二 五 rearrangement.

The adoption of suitable policies for redundant staff will continue, along with the handling of public assets in the administrative units at district and co妹妹une levels affected by this rearrangement.

Any related paperwork for this transformation, including changing information regarding personal data of individuals and organizations due to this new arrangement, must be completed this year. — VNS
